American Cultural Influence
In response to the quote, I agree because during 40s and 50s the teenagers were large population-wise than adults due to the baby booms and loved rock n roll but older generations did not and disagreed with it. There were very few music that all generations loved.
ROCK N ROLL
-combination of the rhythms of the blues, from African American culture, and from America's country music
-Lead musical instrument was piano or saxophone in 1940s and got replaced by guitar in 1950s
-Usually played with two electric guitars (one lead other rhythm), a string bass or an electric bass guitar and drum kit.
